Come join the US Albacore Association for our Mid Atlantic Championships, we will be racing out on New York Harbor's Sandy Hook Bay for the second year. Last year the location offered great sailing conditions with 12-15 kts on both days with 1' waves and breathtaking views of the New York Skyline. Less than 8 hours from Toronto it offers a good reason to travel out of town during one of the busiest periods of the Pan-American games. Beach camping has been arranged with SHBCC, which includes showering and toilet facilities and electric hookups. A partial list of nearby hotels is given below. Extended Stay Middletown-Red Bank (USD 50-140) Courtyard by Marriott Red Bank (USD 90-190) Camping: Cheesequake State Park; 1-732-566-2161, www.cheeseqakestatepark.com Camping in not permitted on the MBC club grounds.
