Best resource for rigging

Hello- I am a new sailor and bought a 1982 Albacore Grampian as my first sailboat to learn on. I am having difficulty finding a good resource for rigging this boat. I have very simple standing rigging that is attached at all times, so I can't really test the length of my shrouds. Any suggestions on how to get the rake of the mast proper? I am setting up new line on the boat and the running rigging is confusing to me. I'd love to have a good book to reference. Lastly, is it standard to not have a backstay for an Albacore?
Thanks so much for your help.

I'm running into the same issue. Just bought an Albacore this week (first boat).
Mine doesn't have a backstay either. Haven't seen one on any pictures I've seen while researching, so I think it's normal.
